The tranquil setting of Wisdom House offers your staff precious time away from the everyday pressures of planning, teaching, marking and the myriad other activities that fill the days and gives them the opportunity to refocus their energies and recharge batteries. It is an ideal setting for INSET days and other training or meeting requirements.
Here, you will find a haven with welcoming, hospitable staff who will go out of their way to ensure that you are well looked after throughout the day and offer any support you or your guest speakers need to get full benefit from your time with us.
The airy conference room can be laid out to your requirements – circle or theatre-style or tables can be put out to give a board-room or café-style layout. It is well-equipped with sound and visual equipment and has free Wi-Fi and Loop system.
Wisdom House is also available for school groups (max 20) for time out, class retreats, etc. The whole Centre is available for use and materials can be provided in the Creative Room for a small extra charge.
Home-prepared meals can be provided in the Dining Room or, in warmer weather, eaten outside in one of the beautiful gardens. Refreshments are available during the day and tea, coffee, sugar and other products are Fairtrade where possible. A sunlit sitting room offers comfortable seating for relaxation and a well-equipped creative room holds all sorts of exciting possibilities for playing and working with a variety of materials. Rooms can also be used for small discussion groups.
